using 100W bulbs on 60W indoor ceiling light-fittings?
If I buy a ceiling light-fitting that says you should put a max. 60W bulb in and I put a 100W bulb in, what would happen? And if it recommended two 75W bulbs and I put in ONE 100W bulb and ONE 75W bulb, what would happen?
Something could melt down and/or start a fire if you use a bulb with too much wattage (too much heat).
You could use compact fluorescent bulbs, which could produce as much light as a 90-100 watt bulb with something like 23-26 watts.
