What is the best digital camera for interior (low light) & wide angle shots on the market today?
I'm a real estate agent, thanks for the help. I need wide angle for interior shots.
I'm looking to spend under 700.00 and looking for a point and shoot camera if possible.

With a common crop factor of 6x for a P&S to offer even 18mm wide it in fact needs to have a 3mm focal lens. That is absurdly close to the sensor! Even at 5x Crop factor it still means about 3,5mm quite close.
Maybe the new Pentax Pen [http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/OlympusEP1/]camera will help you out. It is an EVIL design no not satanic but it has interchangable lenses but isn't an SLR. You still work of screen!
Okay I think in your case a decent Canon G10/G11 will be the best option. Great glass, great control good quality sensor and it doesn't breaks the bank. Not to mention it is a compact that many DSLR users would love to have as "second camera in the bag"
